The Heart Smart Medical Forum invited Mr. Cao Fangzhi, Vice President of International Hou Sheng Digital Technology, to speak on the topic “AI, Big Data, and Remote Care – Smart Medical Care” during a special lecture. He shared the experience of promoting remote care services for heart failure patients and presented the “myHealth Health Cloud” heart failure home care service solution, in line with the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s “Telemedicine Treatment Regulations.”
International Hou Sheng Digital Technology, leveraging its deep expertise in medical information technology integration and remote care consulting platforms, partnered with Taiwan Mobile to jointly launch the “myHealth Health Cloud” service. Given that heart disease has become the second-leading cause of death in Taiwan, the “myHealth Health Cloud” service pioneers the industry by launching the “Heart Contraction Assessment” service aimed at heart disease and post-heart surgery patients, helping them manage their health at home. Through Leadtek Technology's medical wearable device “DxPatch” ECG and heart sound recorder, users can upload personal health data to the cloud platform in real time, assisting in monitoring their health status and providing health consultation services. Additionally, the “Exercise Heart Power” service targets the general public, allowing users to wear a heart rate monitor during exercise, upload measurement data to the cloud platform, and track heart health through historical data records. This service can also serve as a reference for cardiologists during consultations.
In recent years, with changes in global population structure and disease patterns, health care models and public health awareness have been on the rise. Health promotion, disease prevention, and smart healthcare services have become crucial topics. However, the overall development of healthcare has yet to break free from outdated, single-mode approaches, and fragmented health services, though continually innovating, lack comprehensive and systemic integration. This has become a significant bottleneck in the development and promotion of healthcare services in Taiwan. The “myHealth Health Cloud” service, through the “Taiwan Smart Network Health Care Alliance,” connects hardware providers (Leadtek Technology), platform operations (International Hou Sheng), telecom (Taiwan Mobile), and other healthcare service providers, using the synergy of various industries to integrate fragmented services and develop a sustainable operational model. This aims to promote IoT innovations that combine health, care, and cloud computing in the healthcare ecosystem.
The “myHealth Health Cloud” service retains basic health management services, positioning itself as self-health management with a disease focus, combining IoT and telecom technology. This allows users to upload personal health information to the cloud in real time, whether at home or during outdoor activities. In the future, it is hoped that the integration of users' medical records and big data analysis will form personalized disease prediction and health management models, further preventing risks and extending the continuum of care from hospitals to home-based self-care. The “myHealth Health Cloud” service will become a crucial step in safeguarding the health of the public. Looking forward, it is hoped to integrate government resources, such as the health passbook, to develop a comprehensive smart health service platform.
