Founded in 1986, Leadtek Technology is a globally recognized company specializing in the research, development, and manufacturing of graphics cards. The company has developed dual-track businesses in computers and smart healthcare products. The H2 Plus medical-grade wearable ECG recorder is one of their flagship products, continuously recording daily health data, capable of detecting heart rate and providing ECG readings, also synced with mobile apps for data review.
“From feedback from doctors, patients with coronary artery disease or myocardial infarction have a 10% mortality rate during hospitalization. After discharge, the mortality rate within a year is around 30%. Just managing cardiovascular surgeries and aftercare can protect at least 3 million people globally. This is not just a business opportunity but a very meaningful cause!" emphasized Lu Kunshan.
This year, with the global economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Leadtek Technology implemented measures like temperature monitoring, wearing masks, and working remotely. Despite the pandemic, the company benefitted from trends like zero-contact business, WFH (work-from-home), virtual desktop systems like Zero Client for remote workers, and increased cloud service demand, which boosted sales in graphics cards. Additionally, blood oxygen monitors became a popular tool for self-screening during the pandemic.
Expanding into the Health Industry and Winning Taiwan Excellence Awards
Building on its long-standing innovation in research and development, Leadtek Technology’s products have received numerous international awards, including the iF, Good Design Japan Design Award, and the German Red Dot Design Award. In recent years, Leadtek has focused on big data and AI value-added solutions in the health and medical industry, building ecosystems and platforms. In the past two years, products like the amor H2 wearable health band and amor mental health management platform have received the Taiwan Excellence Award.

Now, "winning the Taiwan Excellence Award" has become a key objective and outcome for Leadtek’s departments.

Looking ahead, Leadtek Technology will continue to combine AI and Medical IoT, expanding the amor Health Cloud platform.
