Leadtek AI Technology Assists in Stroke Prevention: Partnering with the Cerebrovascular Disease Prevention Foundation to "Identify High-Risk Groups in 3 Minutes"
According to the 2022 Ministry of Health and Welfare's statistics on the leading causes of death in Taiwan, cardiovascular disease ranks as the second leading cause of death, with an average of one person dying every 22 minutes. In response, Leadtek Technology, in collaboration with Rotary International District 3470 and Professor Kao Ming-Jian from the Cerebrovascular Disease Prevention Foundation, has launched the "AI Stroke Prevention Screening Service." This service uses Leadtek's portable electrocardiogram recorder HRV Guard to provide stroke screening for the public.

Leadtek Technology's portable electrocardiogram recorder, HRV Guard, is equipped with advanced AI real-time interpretation technology. It can be easily operated using a health insurance card, measuring physiological data such as heart rate variability, electrocardiogram, and irregular heartbeat through ECG signals. It analyzes signals of cardiovascular abnormalities, including atrial fibrillation and arrhythmia, and provides precise results within just three minutes.

The "AI Stroke Prevention Screening Service" will be implemented in Yunlin, Chiayi, Nantou, and Penghu areas, primarily targeting individuals over the age of 40. Participating hospitals include National Taiwan University Yunlin Branch, National Cheng Kung University Douliu Branch, Beigang Mazu Hospital, Chiayi Christian Hospital, Chi Mei Hospital, Annan Hospital, Penghu Branch of Tri-Service General Hospital, and Penghu National Health Insurance Hospital. Participants only need to bring their health insurance card and ID. After the test, the AI cloud system will instantly interpret the results and generate a report. If an abnormal heart rhythm is detected, a referral will be provided to assist the individual with further examination and treatment.
